The Smoke Thieves och The Demon World

En fantasybok som jag inte visste så mycket om innan jag började. Tydligen hajpad då författaren skrivit serien Half Bad läste jag senare. Bäst att ge sig in i en bok utan att veta för mycket om den.

Jag har lyssnat på del 1 och 2 i serien:
The Smoke Thieves och The Demon World.

Del två kom ut nyss, och släpptes som ljudbok igår på Storytel.


Första boken handlar om fem unga personer och man får följa en person i varje kapitel. Det är flera uppläsare och jag tycker det är väldigt bra och lätt att lyssna på.

Prinsessan Catherine ska giftas bort med en prins för en allians, Ambrose riskerar att bli avrättad, March vill hämnas, tjuven Edyon råkar ut för mer än vad han tänkt, Tash jobbar med demonjägaren Gravell. Det finns demoner och av röken kan man bli hög, även om det är olagligt. Denna rök spelar en viktig roll i böckerna. Nu ska jag sätta mig och vänta på nästa bok som troligtvis kommer nästa år.

Jag såg fram emot bok 2 i serien och som tur var kom den på Storytel den 1/8. Det är flera uppläsare precis som i första boken och jag gillar den här också. Det tog ett tag att komma ihåg vad alla höll på med men efter ett tag så flöt det på. Nu är det bara en bok kvar i serien och jag ser fram emot den.
