The Cruel Prince

Jag började läsa The Cruel Prince för ett tag sedan, det är första boken i serien The Folk of the Air Series. Jag hade svårt att komma in i berättelsen, lyckades bara läsa en halv sida och så började jag göra annat, så den blev liggande. I maj tog jag tag i den och tvingade mig att läsa vidare.

Jude var bara sju när hon fick se sina föräldrar mördas och sedan blev hon och hennes systrar förda till Fairie. Hon är annorlunda, en människa bland alla fay som ofta ser ner på människorna. Speciellt prins Cardan, yngsta sonen till the High King. Jude vill ändå höra till och gör vad hon kan för att passa in, men prins Cardan tål hon inte.

Jag gillar själva världen och beskrivningarna av fey (skulle gärna se boken som film för att se hur de ser ut).
Halvvägs in i boken börjar det hända mer och jag har svårare att lägga ifrån mig den. På slutet är det riktigt spännande.

Bok två i serien The Wicked king planeras under 2019 och del tre The Queen of nothing till 2020.
